Ready For Summer!

Even though summer may be a few months away, a girl can dream can't she?

This fun little quilt is what I'm working on today. I keep thinking of being at the lake

with my famly, or having a BBQ out on the patio. I love the bright colors and prints.

I got to spend the day with this handsome little guy and his sister on Friday!

Grandma this wide-eyed grin. What a cutie!

Sewing Room Update!

A couple weeks ago, I painted my sewing room a nice brown taupe color. Okay, you can see in the photos, the creative process is still in action, but it is an improvement to me and feels more welcoming. My friend Tanya does the vinyl wall decor that you see in the photo. The Grandchildren Visit!

Lisa came down today with Maya and Eli for a fun day. Here is my big bouncing grandson, Eli at 4 months! He is such a fun little bundle to hold and cuddle.

The Colors of Christmas

I've had a few days off so more time to sew. YEAH! Here is the quilt I'm currently working on although the colors aren't coming through very well. Look for it in my Etsy shop toward the end of the month!

Saying Goodbye to Soxie

Today I had to say goodbye to my favorite kitty, Sox, who was 95 in cat years, 15 in people years. He was not getting well. It was hard to do but I feel it was the right decision. I will sure miss that little guy. He was a very good pet, and quite spoiled I might add. Here he is in happier times:

He used to like coming into my sewing room to make his presence known. What a sweetheart.

Dane's Birthday party

We all had such a great time at the Aquatic center for Dane's birthday party! These are the times we remember with fondness. What a wonderful family we have.
